what a night

Ok not for the faint of heart or family members that probably do not want to know that much about their sis-in-law – love ya Brightie!

Other happenings… rated version… life is pretty good. We took Matt out of homeschool – it just wasn’t working out. He loves the new school though – no dress code policy and he can keep his mohawk and it can be any color he wants it to be.

We now have the 3 of us, 3 kids – Matt – 13, Thor – 17 and Jamie – 19, 3 dogs, 3 cats and a rat named Poof. All in our little house. We so need a bigger house. But I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Work is good. It is going to be busy as hell soon when my boss retires in January. That will leave only me in all of NA and LA who knows what they are doing. Granted it is job security but now it means I am basically on call 24/7. They still haven’t leveled my position. So I am working about 2-3 levels above what I am getting paid. It totally sucks.

Medical Stuff – health suckeths big time.

The results are in…

Thyroid:

They found 3 solid cysts and 2-4 fluid filled cysts on my thyroid.
She said the biggest one right now is only 2 cm by 1 cm. She wants to
re-run my thyroid labs in Feb and run a radioactive iodine test and
biopsy them – unless they get bigger between now and then and then she
will do it sooner.

Rest of self:

She found a disc bulge in my C5 and C6. She has narrowed things down
to three diagnoses – GBS (Guillain Barre Syndrome), MS or Myasthenia
Gravis. She referred me to a new neurologist in town and I see her on
Friday – which I just got back from. She has me scheduled for three more tests.

Visual Evoked Potential – A VEP test evaluates the visual pathways in your brain. During the test, you watch a video monitor with a moving pattern. Watching the moving pattern produces electrical activity in your brain that is measured by several electrodes attached to your head.

An EEG and a MRA of my brain.

Then I will have to have a spinal tap in February unless things get worse between now and then and another MRI of brain.

So that is that.

Ok I will have to finish this in a bit – I need to rinse my hair!

Ok part two… sis – this is the part you prob shouldn’t read…

Ok so sex should always be this great. You know the sex is good when you have to flip the mattress to get away from the wet spots. There are very few nights where I totally enjoy only an hour’s sleep. I have never had someone who makes me feel the way she has. Sometimes I get so worried I am going to do something wrong or not do enough. She has a hard time telling people her needs so in turn I worry about being enough for her. She says I am more than enough – that Matt and I are all she has ever wanted and dreamed of. I just hope that can be true. We have so much in common. Almost to very frightening extents. She is so smart and sexy – looks at me with eyes that hold so much love and emotion – touches me with soft caresses but can be as rough with me as I like. I want to get in her head and see what is there. I want to know her inside and out. I love being with her and talking to her about religion and philosophy and politics. There is nothing I do not love about her. I worry that she will leave if this whole situation does not pan out the way she wants it. She says she needs both and knows I want it also but more of me wants just her. She is my perfect match through and through. I worry so much that I may lose her. There are so many other stipulations in this. There is the one we both love, another she loves and another that still loves me. So many trials and tribulations and curves in the road and they all lead to the same place in my heart. She is worried though if this turns out to be MS. She said she sees everything I am going through is exactly what she went through when she was being diagnosed. She wants me to be healthy and not go through what she has gone through. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever be healthy.

Ok so those are my updates. I will try and update more now that I see my computer more.
