Well what a weekend! Friday night I went out with people from work – only about 40 of them and went to this bar in Covington to wish well one of our co-workers who now has a new job. Let me just say this – omg these people can drink!

So I rode over to the party of the night with my boss – the biker. She is really cool for a lady in her 50’s. Well being a biker she likes fast things. So we pile into her convertible Eclipse and headed down there. She is obviously not as alert as she used to be. She almost didn’t see this guy walking across the road! Well we got there and everyone knows how much I hate crowds and I never was comfy hanging with the ‘work’ crowd. Plus it was a straight bar – so totally out of my element! Adam asked where the gf was and I just looked and said at home in front of the computer where she always is. So after my boss had 3 beers and I watched my manager drink 7 beers (!) we headed home.

Yesterday I spent the day cleaning the house.Have you ever tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? Well other than being biased since Mr. Clean helps to ensure I get a paycheck every week – it is the most amazing thing since sliced bread! I was cleaning the computer monitor at the desk because the gf smokes in front of it every waking moment. It took the nasty nicotine yuk right off! I had to rinse it out like 7 times and I just cleaned it a couple months ago. ICK! Well after I finished cleaning I went out with Tra. She was taking me out to dinner for my bday. We went to Uno’s and just hung out and talked. We had her 5 yr old with us so we were pretty limited on what we could do. Then we went and got some ice cream and decided to go to the movies. We saw Chasing Liberty – very cute chic flick! Aftwards we went back to her house and I dropped her off – after we sat in the car and talked for an hour. There are times I hate her family though. She always was the one who was born with the silver spoon in her mouth and always did get everything she wanted. Her 5 yr old was walking around in a $150 leather coat and this house they live in is just ridiculous. I could fit my entire townhouse, my parent’s house and my brother’s house into this house and still have room to spare. And it is not so much of being jealous as much as it is a disappointment that I have had to work as hard as I have just to get to where I am right now and she drives a brand new SUV and just signed papers on her own house. Oh well – someday my princess will come and life will be grand.

Gf did not come to bed until 5 AM. I hate it when she does that. I might as well sleep alone. A friend called at 9 AM this morning which totally sucked – I was now awake so I had to get up and make coffee. Gf rolled out of bed about 45 minutes after that and boy has she been cranky today. We put the wireless network together today and I swear my life mimicks Home Improvement sometimes. She being Tim of course. I read the whole manual for the network and did she – no she only reads one page at a time. Therefore she misses the part where it says you have to do everything in this manual in exact order or the router will not work. So when I pointed this fact out she got all pissy at me and started on her screaming things and kicked the desk chair half way across the dining room. I still do not undertand her need for inanimate objects but I know it is better them than me.

So I guess I am off to bed now. Work is going to be busy this week… I can just feel it.
