Quick post before I head off to la la land again.

I was in the hospital last night with more pain on my left side. Well they finally found something this time!!!

A 5.5 sonimeter ovarian cyst – tennis ball size. So 8 hours later, 2 injections of morphine, 1 injection of phenergan and 2 percosets, I was basically feeling nothing – nada – not even aware of what was going on around me.

I think I told the US lady how much my son weighed at birth.

So I go to the doc on Monday and he will decide if he is going to wait this out and see if it goes away, do surgery to just remove it or do a total hysterectomy. At this point I am opting for the latter.

Kat is in Cali but very worried. She has been calling every so often to make sure I am ok.

The doc said the cyst is blood filled which is unusual for someone who doesn’t bleed. And our female history of female reproductive cancer sucks the big one.

So I will update more later when I am more functionable.

I love my wife so freakin much!

Oh and my hair is gone – very short and flippy in back and about 3 inches long on top! I will post pictures soon!

This is why nurses should listen to their patients especially when their patient used to be a nurse!
