First I want to say – Happy Birthday Lisa!!!!!

Ok so my wife calls last night from San Fran and here is how the conversation went:

Wife: Hiya Hotass
Me: Hey baby
Wife: Can I call?
Me: Of course

Phone
Wife: Hi baby
Me: Hey you
Wife: So whatcha doing?
Me: Just finished the last of the unpacking – my office lol
Wife: LOL
Wife: So would you be really upset with me if I go back to Costa Rica this week?
Me: Of course not
Wife: We are wanting to go back down and look at this property we saw on the beach in Hermossa. They are wanting to see if they can talk the guy down on the price and if they can get it Mom and Dad will start construction on it soon after. They want to build a Casino and Internet Cafe and restaurant and put it up on stilts so as to not mess with the rainforest ecosystem. It would mean me overseeing the construction so I would be staying down there and then helping to run the business.
Me: Ok
Wife: So would you come with me?
Me: Of course (slight panic but excitment too)
Wife: Mom and Dad are looking at this huge house there too. If we get this property we are going to check into the house also.
Me: Ok baby.
Wife: can you check into what you would need to do with work?
Me: Sure – I will talk to them tomorrow.
Wife: San Jose is not that far and if you can still telecommute it should work out well
Me: Yeah – I could possibly do the San Jose office or our office in Venezuela especially since I support Latin America too.
Wife: Matt could help run the business with me and I can teach him to surf and we can do all sorts of fun things.
Me: Yeah he would love that!
Wife: You sure?
Me: Yes sweetheart – you know I will go anywhere with you.
Wife: Ok we need to run and do stuff – I will call you later!
Me: Ok baby – I love you
Wife: I love you too!

Ok so after I got off the phone just finishing up the last of the unpacking it made me realize – hell now I have to pack again! And how in the hell do you move things to a different country? I say I sell everything and ship the computers and live in sarongs all year round! So we won’t know anything quite yet – but it looks like this is a very good possibility. So Friday I have to get passports for me and Matt. Expediting them still takes 10 days and it will cost about $400 total.

The idea of living in the rainforest is a dream come true for a granola earthy chica like me. I talked to Matt about it last night and he said he would love to move down there. Just the animals and wildlife and plants – I would be in 7th heaven. Matt would love it having the beach as his back yard every day. And we would definitely have to brush up on our Spanish.

I told my parents last night and Rita was like – ok when do we move? I told dad we would still visit – round trip tickets from Dayton to San Jose are only $330 so that isn’t bad at all. He said yeah we would definitely come down there to visit. They took it much better than I expected. So everything is a little overwhleming but very exciting in the same sense.

So that is my update – can I go back to bed now?
