Well Easter is here and it is dreary as ever outside. Matt is home from the hospital and doing much better. He is moving around better and goes back to school tomorrow. Apparently there was another boy at his school who also had his appendix out last week! Must be in the water.

We have our seedlings planted now and there are little sprouts coming up. I am so itching to be outside planting!!! I checked the farmer’s almanac and it said to expect 8 days of sunshine in April. Lovely! I need a vacation so badly to somewhere warm!

Matt leaves for Florida next Saturday. I know he is looking forward to it. I still need to get his picture ID this week so he has it for the trip. I worry about him since he will be by himself – yes I know I am a mama bear – I just hope he will be ok.

Other than that Kat and I will celebrate 6 months of being married the end of April. Wow – 6 months married! Hard to believe. She was so awesome when we were at the hospital. Everytime his alarm would go off for his heart rate going too high (he was on morphine then) she would jum up to look. I am so glad she was there with me. I don’t know what I would have done without her.

Life is good, we are healthy and happy.

That’s a lovely picture, too! When was this one taken???

    Matt’s going to Florida alone??

I’m *so* glad everyone is healthy and home again – and that you had the support you needed in your hardest time. Really, that’s EVERYTHING in a moment of crisis, innit?

Thanks – I took that one when Kat was in Costa Rica so I could send it to her.

Yeah he is going down to stay with Uncle Vincent for spring break. Vincent bought him a round trip ticket and they are going to go camp around FL and the keys for the week. Kinda cool since his 30th bday is that week and he would rather spend it with his favorite kid instead of living it up!

Me too. Kat starts back to school tomorrow and we have our ornithology class on Tuesday nights now for 7 more weeks plus a lot of field trips coming up. I am just happy we do not have to sleep in the hospital anymore! I am so sore I can barely move! Thank P&G for Thermacare and lots of pain pills!

      Love ya lots!
